The narrator read the narrative well, clear, confident and articulate. However, he had an intensely annoying habit of reading any dialogue in a very soft, almost whispered voice. I listen to most of audio books while driving where there is a lot of noise.
The constant changing of the pitch and volume of reading meant I either had to have the volume at a level it was almost uncomfortable or I missed any verbal dialogue he read as I could not hear it. I will be checking from now and although this has not put me off the author I will not buy anything else read by this narrator.
