Amy McCulloch

Amy McCulloch is a Canadian-British author of young adult fiction and adult thrillers. She has written the Jinxed series for young readers and has made the transition to adult fiction with Breathless, a thriller set on Mount Everest about a journalist who joins an expedition to interview a famous mountaineer, only to discover that someone on the mountain is a killer. Breathless combines the claustrophobic tension of a locked-room mystery with the extreme physical danger of high-altitude mountaineering, creating a thriller where the setting itself is as deadly as the killer. The novel has been praised for its atmospheric writing and its ability to make readers feel the cold, the altitude and the fear. Available as both books and audiobooks, Amy McCulloch's fiction offers gripping listening and reading for thriller fans who appreciate stories set in extreme environments where danger comes from both nature and human malice.
