Everything you need to know about xigxag

There is no subscription fee. At xigxag you only pay for the titles when you are ready to listen, so there is no pressure to pay when you do not have time.

Our pricing is simple and works on an annual basis from your first purchase. In the UK, you will pay £8.99 per title for your first five books, then £7.99 for books 6-10, £6.99 for books 11-15, £5.99 for books 16-20, and £4.99 per title when you buy more than 20 books in the year. Only full price titles count toward your pricing tier. Our Listen for Less books are always priced at £3.99.

Once you have downloaded the xigxag app and created your profile, you can log in and buy on our website using Stripe, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Go to our catalogue page, select the title you would like to buy, click Buy, sign into your xigxag account, and select Redeem a Book Token. Please note that Apple and Google do not allow alternative payment methods for in-app purchase, so you need to buy on our website.

We developed an exclusive technique for skipping around an audiobook that is more closely aligned to navigating a book, using words and phrases rather than minutes and seconds. You are never dropped in the middle of a word or sentence, making it easier to track where you are and pick up where you left off.

Once purchased, you can choose Listen Later, Stream now (listen without download), or Download to Device. If you select Listen Later, play directly from the xigxag logo in the navigation bar, which transforms into a play/pause button.
