Dr Camilla Pang is a British scientist and author with a PhD in biochemistry from University College London. Diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder at age eight and later with ADHD, Pang uses scientific frameworks to understand human behaviour and social interaction. Her debut book, Explaining Humans, won the Royal Society Science Book Prize in 2020, using concepts from science — including machine learning, molecular biology, and game theory — to decode the complexities of human social life. Pang's books and audiobooks offer listeners a unique, illuminating perspective on what it means to be human, told through the lens of someone who has found in science a language for understanding the world around her.
