Jack Kerouac

Jack Kerouac was an American novelist and poet who became a defining figure of the Beat Generation in the 1950s and 1960s. His spontaneous prose style, most famously in On the Road, changed the course of American literature. Atop an Underwood collects his early stories and sketches, offering readers and listeners a window into the young writer finding his voice. Kerouac's books and audiobooks continue to inspire those drawn to freedom, adventure and the open road.
