Lucy Easthope is a British mass fatality and disaster planner who has worked on some of the most devastating events in recent history, including the 2004 tsunami, the 7/7 bombings, the Grenfell Tower fire, and the COVID-19 pandemic. She is Professor of Practice in the Costing of Risk and Disaster at the University of Bath.
Come What May is a continuation of her writing about disaster, resilience, and preparation. Her earlier memoir When the Dust Settles revealed the extraordinary reality of her work — being the person who plans for the worst and picks up the pieces after catastrophe. It was a Sunday Times bestseller.
Her audiobooks and books offer listeners and readers extraordinary insight into what happens after disaster strikes — written by the woman whose job it is to plan for the unthinkable.
