Martin Amis

Martin Amis (1949–2023) was one of the most celebrated and provocative British novelists of the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries. His novels, including Money, London Fields, Time's Arrow, and The Information, are known for their dazzling prose style, dark comedy, and satirical edge. Amis was also a prolific essayist and critic, and his memoir Experience is a candid, moving account of his life, his relationship with his father (the novelist Kingsley Amis), and his own experiences of fame, loss, and family. He was widely regarded as one of the English language's most stylistically gifted writers. His audiobooks and books remain essential for fans of literary fiction.
