Peter Stothard

Peter Stothard is a British journalist, author, and former editor of The Times and the Times Literary Supplement. Crassus is his account of Marcus Licinius Crassus, the Roman plutocrat whose pursuit of wealth and military glory made him one of the most powerful — and ultimately tragic — figures of the late Roman Republic. Stothard's audiobook offers listeners a vivid, erudite portrait of ancient Rome's richest man.
