Roberta Kray

Roberta Kray is a British crime fiction author whose gritty London-set thrillers are informed by an unusual personal connection to the criminal underworld — she was married to Reggie Kray, one of the infamous Kray twins, during the final years of his life in prison. She lives in London and has been writing crime fiction since 2007. Kray's novels are set in the East End of London and feature tough, resilient women navigating a world of organised crime, family loyalty, and betrayal. Bad Girl and her many other titles deliver fast-paced plotting, authentic London settings, and characters who inhabit the grey areas between respectability and criminality. Her fiction draws on her unique insight into London's criminal culture while creating its own fictional world of compelling characters and twisting plots. Her audiobooks and books offer listeners and readers authentic, gripping London crime fiction from a writer whose personal history gives her an unusual perspective on the world she depicts — fast-paced thrillers with strong women at their centre.
