Shaun Bythell

Shaun Bythell is a Scottish author and the owner of The Bookshop, Wigtown — Scotland's largest second-hand bookshop, located in Scotland's National Book Town. Confessions of a Bookseller is his witty, often curmudgeonly diary of life running an independent bookshop, dealing with eccentric customers, mountains of books, and the daily challenges of keeping a bookshop alive in the age of Amazon. The book became a bestseller and charmed bibliophiles worldwide. His audiobooks and books are hilarious, heartwarming listening and reading for book lovers and anyone who dreams of — or wants the truth about — running a bookshop.
