Tom Fletcher is a British musician, singer, songwriter, and children's author best known as a member of the pop band McFly and as the author of the hugely successful Christmasaurus series for children. Born in London in 1985, he has been in McFly since he was seventeen and has written number one singles, played sold-out arena tours, and co-written songs with artists including One Direction and Busted.
The Christmasaurus, Fletcher's debut children's novel, tells the story of a boy called William Trundle and the last dinosaur on Earth, who hatches at the North Pole and becomes Santa's favourite pet. The book became a number one bestseller and spawned a series including The Christmasaurus and the Winter Witch and a live arena show. Fletcher has also written the picture book series The Dinosaur That Pooped and the novel The Creakers.
His audiobooks and books offer listeners and readers joyful, imaginative children's fiction from a natural entertainer — stories that combine the energy of a pop concert with the magic of Christmas and the timeless appeal of dinosaurs.
