Ashes to Ashes

Synopsis

Two days after Christmas, a nine-year-old boy vanishes without a trace.A week into the investigation, the police hit dead ends and cold trails—until PI Justin Boyle and his team of International Investigators take on the case. When Justin's childhood best friend, Kyle, calls from jail convinced someone wants him dead, Justin can't ignore him. Kyle's plea is simple: recover the money he buried years ago, track down his missing girlfriend, and post bail. The clues lead Justin to a sun-soaked paradise, but beneath the palm trees, nothing is what it seems. At the same time, Justin and the International Investigators are working a cold case involving a missing child, Ethan Hoover. They build the case from scratch, catching the cracks in the police's investigation, but they are overwhelmed by the potential suspects—boyfriends of the divorced mother, a jealous older brother craving his father's attention, a neighborhood child predator, class bullies, and an over-involved Little League coach. With every suspect under scrutiny and time slipping away, they must push investigative boundaries and bend moral lines.Justin and the International Investigators face two ticking clocks: outmaneuvering forces that may kill Kyle in jail, and locating Ethan before it's too late. Betrayals, buried secrets, and dangerous alliances threaten every step of the way.
