What to expect
Escape to the charming West Yorkshire countryside this autumn, where golden leaves crunch underfoot and crisp air stirs secrets at Holly Close Farm.
Architect Charlie Maddison's life in London crumbles on a rainy November day when she discovers her boyfriend is married. Fleeing heartbreak, she returns to her quirky family in the picturesque village of Westenbury, seeking solace amongst the falling leaves and crisp air.
Her sister, Daisy, a talented landscape gardener, is also back home, craving a fresh start. Their lives take an unexpected turn when their spirited great-grandmother, Madge, reveals the existence of Holly Close Farm, a property abandoned for over sixty years. Entrusting its renovation to Charlie and Daisy, Madge unlocks a hidden chapter of their family history.
As they peel back the layers of the old farmhouse, a tale of wartime romance, long-held secrets, and devastating betrayals emerges. Can true love bloom again amidst the windswept moors? Or will the farm's shadowed past forever haunt their future?
Perfect for fans of Phillipa Ashley, Katie Fforde, and Jill Mansell.
