What to expect
Now a Hallmark Channel film adaptation titled Savoring Paris, starring Bethany Joy Lenz and Stanley Weber
Meet Ella, on the brink of turning thirty and full of regret for a life only half lived.
In a haze of heartbreak after splitting up with the man she thought she was going to marry, she makes the only decision that seems rational and buys a one-way ticket to Paris, embarking on a pilgrimage of food, wine, and joie de vivre.
After arriving, Ella struggles to grasp the nuances of French manners and friendship. She soon finds herself caught between two men who inhabit opposite ends of the Paris food scene, getting wined and dined by one and inadvertently making a bet to try every type of French cheese with the other.
As the seasons change, Ella realizes that there’s more to life in France than champagne and cheese. At some point the Eiffel Tower stops sparkling, and she needs to decide where her heart truly lies.
Critics Review
-
“Full of charm, Fromage à Trois opens up the delicious aspects of Paris and secrets of the French way of loving…Witty, voluptuous, very français—adorable!”
Nina George, New York Times bestselling author
-
“Littrell is absolutely delightful while delivering Ella’s headlong flight to Paris, where she intends to find her own joy. Littrell’s plucky tone and vitality make listening to Ella’s upbeat attempts to put the past behind her almost as much fun as Ella is having…Deliciously entertaining…Winner of the AudioFile Earphones Award.”

-
“Drawing on Brownlee’s experience as a food writer, this highly sensual debut novel follows an Australian woman’s journey through the cultural, culinary, and romantic offerings of Paris…Brownlee craftily combines the beauty and charm of Paris with the allure of romance, creating a novel of sensory delight.”
Publishers Weekly
-
“This book will transport you to the streets of Paris and have you laughing out loud over the complications of love in a foreign city as Ella finds her way and heart.”
