What to expect
Survival was only the beginning. Adjusting to her new reality comes with a new set of extenuating circumstances that Cora must navigate with caution. First step: avoid going into the "family business" and becoming an assassin.
A soulless killer's life is not for her, despite how it looks on the surface. Revenge is a different story . . .
Luckily, Cora has the perfect excuse for avoiding the pressure to conform she's under. No one kills the guy she loves and gets away with it.
She can't rest until she's wiped Matthew St. Clair's killer from the face of this earth. She makes the most of her reprieve to track down her prey and unearths something far stranger than a simple murder in the process.
Cora finds herself taking care of two wildly powerful runaways and trying to fend off the doomsday cult coming for them.
Will revenge still be on the cards when all is said and done? Or will Cora discover catharsis comes in another form?
