I just love Emily Pollifax. She's kind , wise and a very spritely white haired lady. Underestimated by her foes due to her cosy manner, until she lands a decisive carate chop :)!
The story is well paced, not gory or creepy, but entertaining and intriguing. I feel I have learned something about China, too!
Barbara Rosenblat's narration is, as always, superb! Very enjoyable 💛Gaby 2026-05-13
