Queen of the Cosmos

Synopsis

On June 24th, 1981, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to two young girls, Mirjana Dragicevic and Ivanka Ivankovic, as they were walking along the outskirts of the village of Medjugorje near the Adriatic Coast in hte mountainous region of Bosnia. Ivanka, noticing first, said to Mirjana, "Look what's up there on the hill!" They saw a brilliant light and a shining figure. Ivanka said, "Mirjana, could it be the Blessed Mother?" Mirjana waved her hand and said, "Come on! You think she would appear to us?" And frightened, the two girls ran away. Queen of the Cosmos , Introduction Forty years ago, in the tiny mountain village of Medjugorje, Bosnia, six young people began to report seeing visions of the Virgin Mary. Through their encounters, messages of the importance of prayer, conversion, and reconciliation have been revealed to them. Queen of the Cosmos provides an opportunity to hear these messages through in-depth interviews with the six visionaries of Medjugorje. Their experiences and the messages they received have changed the lives of millions of people who have found truth, encouragement, and solace in the loving and encouraging words of the Blessed Mother. This new edition includes an afterword by the author, giving an update on both the lives of the visionaries and the visions they receive. "The Blessed Mother has been permitted by God to come here [because] she knows what is coming in the future. She is calling all God´s children back on the path to Heaven." – Ivan Dragicevic, one of the visionaries "God is doing an extraordinary thing in Medjugorje. He has sent Mary to these humblest of circumstances, to re-introduce His Son to teh world. She is calling us -- not just Catholics, all of us -- to return to Him. Indeed, words like "Catholic" and "Protestant" have little meaning, as we kneel at the foot of the Cross. There, we are one." -- Editor's Note
