What to expect
A classic "wrong man" suspense novel, Run from the Hunter is a fast-paced, tightly plotted thriller about a man convicted of a crime he did not commit.
Chris Adams has been framed for the murder of Steffany Fontaine. While on his way to prison, there is a spectacular train crash in which he escapes, giving him the opportunity to set out to prove his innocence. But everywhere he turns—every street, every alley—the real killers lie in wait.
Critics Review
-
“A writer born to be good…You simply never know where his love and high excitement will take him next.”
Ray Bradbury, praise for Charles Beaumont
-
“The name of Charles Beaumont will be honored and recognized for generations yet to come.”
Robert Bloch, praise for the author
-
“Charles Beaumont was a genius…and one hell of a storyteller.”
Dean Koontz, praise for the author
-
“You have to give Rudnicki credit. His crisp, deep voice moves the story along, and he excels at portraying an eccentric in the plot named Jericho, an elderly man everyone thinks is mad but is far from it. The changes in Rudnicki’s presentation of this character alone are enough to carry the story.”
