What to expect
A romantic thriller that can stand alone.
A recently discovered species called humans has given hope to the dying race of the Prime, though Mak ‘Tag Krell Manok personally can’t fathom a human mate for himself. Humans are so small and delicate, and Mak has always been the wildest, most dangerous of his brothers, but the moment he sees an image of Tansy, the sister of his brother’s new bond mate, he is captivated. Now Mak has set a new course: for Earth and the female that stirs his blood to fire!
Tansy Bell is the middle daughter of the three Bell sisters. She has always been a little different, even for a Bell, but she learned to harness that difference to blend in or stand out just enough to get what she wants—and what she has always wanted is to bring down the worst criminals in the world. She has devoted her life to it, and this time, Tansy is sure she’s going to die for it.
It doesn’t take Mak long to discover that a huge amount of trouble can come in a small package! There is one female in the universe with the strength and determination of twenty Prime warriors who is not afraid to stand up to him—even if she is afraid to love him.
A New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, the internationally acclaimed S.E. Smith presents a new story with her signature humor and unpredictable twists! Exciting adventure, hot romance, and iconic characters have won her a legion of fans. Over TWO MILLION books sold!
Critics Review
-
“Mak is the biggest of the brothers of the ruling family of Baade but he’s also the most vulnerable…I loved this third book in the series the most. Mak and Tansy are the most damaged of the couples, in my opinion, and benefit the most from having a mate. It brings them both back from the edge of despair and gives them something to live for: each other. With more teasing glimpses of future stories and delightful updates on Tink and Hannah and their growing families, this is a series I will follow as long as the author keeps writing.”
