Synopsis
The Creature from Cleveland Depths "is a modern tale of an inner-directed sorcerer and an outer-directed sorcerer's apprentice" by Fritz Leiber. The background of the story is the cold war, which got hot. Most of the people moved to live underground, where they needed to continue innovation to counter the enemy. But they also needed the aboveground people's ideas for that. Here come our heroes: a writer and his wife, the abovegrounders. Their last common development with the undergrounders has frightening implications. Artist Bio Author: Fritz Leiber (1910-1992) was an American writer of fantasy, horror, and science fiction. He was also a poet, actor in theater and films, playwright and chess expert.
