I had watched the movie years ago, and as soon as I saw it was available as an audiobook, I eagerly seized the opportunity to listen to it again, driven by nostalgia and my love for horror stories. Once I started listening, I was immediately hooked. The audiobook contained some very explicit, violent, and stomach-churning descriptions, making it more of a graphic, slasher-style horror rather than genuinely creepy or frightening. However, I did not care for the narration; notably, this was the first time I encountered a British narrator who was unable to perform a convincing American accent. Overall, I’d rate it 4 out of 5 stars, as it successfully transported me down memory lane and rekindled my childhood fears.
