Amidst the comings and goings inside the castle walls we witness Anne's meteoric rise and terrifying fall, while also sharing in the trials and triumphs of a compelling cast of characters. Beautifully written, Borman turns a familiar story on its head and takes you deep into the Tudor world. This is historical fiction at its best

A gripping take on the story of the Boleyns. I particularly liked the fact that the story was told from the side of those living in Hever Castle and wasn't as centred around Anne Boleyn (although theres plenty about her too).
