The unmissable new mystery in the bestselling, record-breaking Thursday Murder Club series by Richard Osman
A wedding. A code. A murder. Time is ticking . . .
It’s been a quiet year for the Thursday Murder Club. Joyce is busy with table plans and first dances. Elizabeth is grieving. Ron is dealing with family troubles, and Ibrahim is still providing therapy to his favourite criminal.
But when Elizabeth meets a wedding guest who fears for their life, the thrill of the chase is ignited once again. A villain wants access to an uncrackable code, and will stop at nothing to get it. Plunged back into their most explosive investigation yet, can the gang solve the puzzle and a murder in time?

This book was the exact kind of cosy mystery that I wanted to read — it was funny, heartwarming, involved lots of tea and biscuits, and tackled the tough subjects without shying away but also with a great deal of empathy and hope. Te relationships between the characters were the real stars of the show. The narrator was excellent, and really gave each of the characters their own voice and personality. I couldn't imagine anyone else reading this series!

Another wonderful visit to Cooper's Chase doesn't disappoint. The usual masterful mix of twisty mystery, gentle humour and life-affirming observations. Loved it.

Once again I found myself laughing out loud to parts of this story the characters of which remind me of people in my own life, and perhaps also, a little bit of me. The familiar people as well as new ones, are so well observed and humour runs through the entire story.
This latest book in the Thursday Murder Club series was long awaited but worth it.Beaniebag 2025-10-06 -

The best one yet! Loved this latest Thursday Murder Club book. Richard Osman is a master story teller and all the usual characters are there although some not quite so much this time. If you are a fan then you will thoroughly enjoy this.
