What to expect
Carys Morgan belongs to two worlds… and neither is ready to let her go.
In California, she’s an assistant mythology professor trying to hold on to a normal life.
In the Shadowlands, she’s a dragon rider bound to an ancient throne and trying to decide between the love of two very different men.
When the Anglian king dies in the Shadowlands, Carys is pulled back across the fae gates into a fragile realm held together by old treaties and agreements that are growing more brittle as human powers shift. The fae court is stirring. And the old gods—long silent—are beginning to wake.
As danger circles the celebration of the new king, Carys finds herself torn between two men from parallel worlds, two very different futures, and secrets about her past that might be the key to the mystery of her magical power.
With dragons, fae, Celtic-inspired mythology, and a heart-twisting love triangle, Book Two of this sweeping romantic portal fantasy series raises the stakes and deepens the danger in a parallel world where nothing comes without a cost.
The Shadow Path is perfect for fans of fantasy romance, slow-burn relationships, found family, and immersive, binge-worthy books full of magic, mythology, and political intrigue.
Step back through the veil… the Shadowlands aren’t done with you yet.
