Synopsis
Avis is a professor's daughter and a very gifted painter. She needs to come to terms with marriage meaning potential sacrifice of her artistic career and future... This beautifully observed work centers around that dilemma, the author being notorious for her works that have questioned the traditional female roles in marriage and family life.
