Alex, his eccentric next-door neighbour, has an unusual solution to his problem – a time machine! Critics Review

  • PRAISE FOR BLACKBEARD'S TREASURE
This is children's fiction at its best ... Perfect for fans of Jacqueline Wilson.

    The Lady

  • I love Iszi Lawrence’s new series, The Time Machine Next Door. Each book gives you several time travel stories for the price of one. Delightfully quirky and full of fascinating historical facts they are enhanced by jolly illustrations where one of the main characters looks a lot like the author! I especially love that the Time Machine sits atop a toilet. Perfect for clever kids aged 7+.

Caroline Lawrence, author of The Roman Mysteries novels

  • ... great fun and eye-opening too... I’m looking forward to finding out where Sunil will travel next.

  • PRAISE FOR THE UNSTOPPABLE LETTY PEGG
Letty and her friends and rivals are great characters, as are the real life people she comes across at different times in her adventures. Thoroughly recommended.

  • PRAISE FOR BILLIE SWIFT TAKES FLIGHT
It is brimming with historical detail and really highlights the heroic nature of some very inspirational women. It would be an excellent class story that would provide children with a tale about a thrilling war-time adventure.
