It was a brilliant night, hosted by Ben Fogle, and Kelli and Mark made the most of the night, taking home an elegant trophy as well as a bottle of Camel Valley sparkling wine – also proudly made in Cornwall.

Fantastic Cornish Start-up. Strong success so far in a very challenging sector and a strong vision for the future.

A standout in terms of innovation and making progress in a challenging business area which is clearly hard to break into. Huge growth potential, but with a significant challenge to get to the next level of acquiring significantly more customers and increasing revenue. Good record of raising funding which will need to go on to deliver significant increases in sales.

This application scored really well: the need for the product/service is well identified, their market research has been done thoroughly, the plan for growth is well put through, the vision is clear, and the business is innovative. It seems that the business also abides by strong inclusive ethos. The proposal really stands out amongst the entries.

Brilliant to see the mention of working with the dyslexic community, but should also consider other how the app will work for those who are either visually or audibly impaired… I found this to be a really dynamic disruptive business concept. The passion and clarity of the business plan is apparent throughout the application. The success achieved during the pandemic are laudable. Everything I read, made me think this is a business to watch. If plans are able to be bought to fruition the business could see incredible growth. The business is realistic about the challenges they have faced but proactive in finding solutions to each of them. If they nail the technology and get the depth and breadth of deals they need, this could be a very exciting business for Cornwall.
