Ant Middleton is a British adventurer, television presenter, and author whose military career and extreme physical challenges have made him one of the most recognisable figures in modern adventure and self-development media. Born in Portsmouth in 1980, Middleton grew up in France and the UK before joining the Royal Marines at seventeen. He went on to serve in the Special Boat Service (SBS) — the Royal Navy's elite special forces unit — and saw active service in Northern Ireland, Macedonia, Afghanistan, and other conflict zones. His military career gave him expertise in extreme survival, leadership under pressure, and mental resilience. After leaving the military, Middleton became the chief instructor on Channel 4's SAS: Who Dares Wins, leading recruits through brutal physical and psychological challenges based on SAS selection. The show made him a household name. He has also undertaken extreme expeditions, including climbing Mount Everest. First Man In (2018), his debut book, became a Sunday Times number one bestseller, combining his military autobiography with lessons on leadership and mental strength. The Fear Bubble, Zero Negativity, and Mental Fitness continue his exploration of resilience, fear management, and peak performance. The Fear Bubble presents his technique for compartmentalising fear and stepping into it deliberately. Middleton writes with the directness and intensity you would expect from a special forces veteran. The audiobook editions of Middleton's books, narrated by the author himself, are compelling and motivating. His books and audiobooks are perfect for anyone interested in mental toughness, leadership, and pushing beyond perceived limits.
