Jiddu Krishnamurti (1895-1986) was an Indian-born philosopher, speaker and author who spent his life travelling the world giving public talks and dialogues on the nature of consciousness, thought, freedom and the art of living. He rejected all organised religion, ideology and authority — including the authority others tried to invest in him — insisting that truth could not be found through any external path but only through direct observation of oneself. A Complete Stillness draws on his teachings about meditation, awareness and the quieting of the mind, offering insights into the nature of thought and the possibility of a mind that is completely still and therefore completely alive. Krishnamurti's teachings have influenced millions of people across cultures and generations. Available as both a book and an audiobook, Krishnamurti's work offers profound listening and reading for anyone interested in the nature of consciousness, meditation and the possibility of living with genuine freedom and clarity.
