I found this a most difficult book to listen to.
The narrator spoke in a very stilted, jerky way for most of the text, causing me to listen to it in short sessions. However, this is just a very personal point of view. Please try it as it.contains a lot of interesting and often humorous accounts of the.era. It also gives great insight into the psyche of Samuel Pepys.Geoff Miles 2023-07-22
