What to expect
The Hunting of the Snark is a whimsical and nonsensical poem by Lewis Carroll about a curious crew of adventurers on a voyage to find the mysterious Snark. Along the way, they encounter absurd situations, strange creatures, and playful language that stretches the imagination. Though the story is fantastical and full of Carroll’s signature wordplay, it is lighthearted and suitable for older children and adults who enjoy clever humor and imaginative storytelling. The poem explores themes of adventure, curiosity, and the joy of puzzling mysteries, rather than focusing on violence or danger.
